ABOUT RMR
Rocky Mountain Rustic (RMR) started off as one wedding DIY task. I knew I wanted to make something for behind our table, but I didn't know what. Being that both I (Britt) and my husband spend any free time we have outdoors, the setting of our wedding etc., we knew it had to be mountains.

After I made my first piece I was hooked. Not only was it enjoyable work, I found a peace I had been searching for. After a battle with cancer and losing my father, I was looking for a quiet place where I could escape and the woodshop quickly became that.

Now I spend my free time tearing down old barns all over the prairies, trying to stay warm in my wood shop while coming up with my next piece and constantly looking for inspiration in the mountains... wherever I can.
